Relation to CARES

The team members from CARES4Pomo come from UCB and work under the umbrella of the Community Assessment of Renewable Energy and Sustainability (visit the CARES website here). CARES is the largest sustainability database in the world, and offers a centralized platform for all inquiries "green" or sustainability-based.

CARES was founded last year with a grant provided by the NCIIA. The lessons learned in the UCB/PPN partnership will be used to expand the open-source CARES database.
