Cynthia (Cindy) Bayley was born in Oakland, CA and graduated from Holy Names High School in May 2007.  Cindy is currently a fourth year at the University of California, Berkeley pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Sustainable Design.  She is currently a member of Berkeley Innovation, the Cal Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, The Society of Women Engineers, and The Multicultural Engineering Program (MEP), with past involvement in the Women in Science and Engineering Theme Program and the UC Women's Chorale.

Cindy first began working on this project in the Spring of 2008 as part of E10: Engineering Design and Analysis.  She is very interested in topics of sustainability particularly related to human-centered design.
