June 10 Workshop in Ukiah went great!
Submitted by Tobias on Thu, 06/11/2009 - 14:12The workshop in Ukiah went wonderfully yesterday. It was a long day, but the members of the PPN did a great job in the co-design, and we came out with some wonderful ideas and a great direction for the home.
After introductions and a site walk-through in the morning, Yael Perez (along with help from Dave Rhoades and BT Nguyen) gave a presentation on alternative materials to be considered for the site.

Article in Forefront Magazine
Submitted by Tobias on Mon, 06/01/2009 - 17:58Our project had an article published in Forefront magazine, the biannual College of Engineering newsletter for UCB. Go here to see:
The article is pretty embarrassingly out of date... It is basically just a re-write of an article in the Innovations newsletter from last Fall, with no new information. It doesn't mention anything about the construction plans for the roundhouse prototype, for example.
Still, any press is good press...
